This chunky shawl hoop and pin are both made out of sterling silver. The shawl hoop (base) measures approximately 1.5 x 1.5 inches (just under 4 x 4 cm) and the pin is close to 3.25 inches (8.5 cm) in length. The pin is made from 16 gauge silver wire and therefore is best used with loosely woven fabrics or knitted garments. (Fine fabrics could be damaged by the thickness of the pin.)

The hoop has a variety of hammered textures and catches the light beautifully in its facets.
